2012 Melody



We say goodbye to 2012 today
You will be a year to remember
So much happened
You showed us the wonders of Mars though the eyes of Curiosity
The limits man can endure by jumping from the edge of space
That no matter how much money you spend you can't change the minds of the people in a eletion
We legalized gay marrige in Washington, Maine, Maryland, New York and marijuana in Colorado
You brought us an up coming stars like Lindsey Stirling and her dubstep violin
You opened our eye though Kony 2012
You brought us music we will never forget like "Somebody That I Used to Know", "Call Me Maybe", and "Gangnam Style"
You brought out our conpetive side with the Euro Cup and the London Olympics
You brought us amazing movies like the Hunger Games, the Avengers, and the Hobbit
But you also brought us pain by taking the lives of 12 in a theater, 26 in Connecticut, and a missing Colorado girl named Jessica Ridgeway
You left thousands dead or with out power in New York and New Jersey through super storm Sandy but humanity moves forward
Some unexpected thing happend like the Pope getting a Twitter, the royal family getting an heir, princess Leah becoming a Disney princess, Twinkies going out of business, Russa not alowing us to adopt there kids, Neil Armstrond's death, Lance Armstrond got cot with drugs, the director CIA is a cheater, and we learnd not to trust Instagram
And in the end we learned the world won't end for a long time
This was truely a year to remember and it will never be forgoten
So lets welcome the New Year and all it will bring us and say goodbye to 2012
